The TMP-Marian Monarchs make their 12th state tournament appearance Thursday afternoon as they take on Inman in the first round of the 2-1 state softball tournament in Pratt.
The Monarchs qualified for the state tournament by winning the Sylvan Grove Regional and are 21-8 on the season.
As the No. 5 seed they take on No. 4 seed Inman in the first round.
Inman won the Sedgwick Regional and are 17-4.
First pitch of the first game is set for 1:00 p.m. from Green Sports Complex in Pratt on the Monarchs Sports Network.
