The TMP-Marian Monarchs open the 2A playoffs on the road in Larned Friday night against the Indians.
The Monarchs have lost two straight after an eight-point loss at Beloit last week and are 4-4 on the season and 4-2 in the Mid-Continent League.
Larned enters the week 6-2 after a wild 46-40 four overtime win over Lakin last week.

Friday marks the 42nd all-time meeting between TMP and Larned who were members of the Mid-State Activities Association for the better part of two decades.
