The ducks are still racing on Aug. 5, however this year you can only watch live on Hays Post and Facebook. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ellis County has made the decision to not have the event open to the public to encourage safety due to COVID-19.
But, you can still be part of the fun. Watch the ducks race around the Lazy River and teams race in Auto World’s Man Overboard Challenge-Part 2. All Duck Derby winners will be announced live. You can still help by adopting ducks until 3 p.m. Wednesday at www.haysduckderby.net.
