The Ellis County Public Works Road &amp; Bridge Division announced Tuesday that an
asphalt overlay project will take place between Gold Course Road and Spring Hill
Road. 

The 1100 block of Ellis Avenue will be closed to through traffic. This project
will begin at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. The estimated completion date is
Thursday, pending weather conditions. Motorists traveling in the
affected closure area should use alternate routes of travel until the project is
completed.
