The Hays Masonic Lodge, in Partnership with the Kansas Masonic Foundation, is raffling off a restored 1959 Chevy El Camino. The car will be showcased at Hays Chevrolet from Wednesday through Friday and downtown Saturday morning, but the ticket sales run until next March.

The cost of the ticket is $20, with $15 from each ticket sold by Hays Lodge returning to Ellis County. Tickets are available at Hays Chevrolet, downtown on Saturday, online at https://kansasmasonic.foundation/ (please put Hays in the comment), or from members of the Hays Lodge 195, who can be contacted by calling (785) 625-3127, or on Facebook.

Over the four years that this statewide raffle has been held, $750,000 has been redistributed to local Lodges who then use the money for projects in their communities. For Hays Masonic Lodge #195, that means donations to the Community Assistance Center, the Firefighters Relief Association, to help them buy and display Hays' first fire truck, and to help fund a free cancer screening that is scheduled for August, along with other charitable projects that they do throughout the year.
