Grow Hays will offer the BEACON Program this fall to support parents who are pursuing online education, certification programs, or job training.
The program provides supervised child care and a quiet study space for parents at the Bob & Pat Schmidt Community Center.
BEACON will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday from Aug. 25 through Dec. 10. Child care will be provided by Bright Minds Academy for children from infancy through age 13.
A meal will be served to the children.
The cost is $10 per week and includes both Tuesday and Thursday evenings for the entire family. Participants may attend one or both nights each week. Scholarships are available.
