The TMP-Marian Monarchs open the 2023-24 season at Hays High School in the first round of the 41st annual Gerald Mitchell Hays City Shootout.
The Monarchs will take on the host Hays High Indians.
The TMP girls are coming off a season where they finished 15-8 and have won four straight over Hays High. The Indians were 14-8 last season.
The TMP boys are coming off their second straight fourth place finish at the 2A state tournament and were 22-4 last season. Hays High finished 13-9.
Tipoff of the girls game is set for 6:30 p.m. with the boys to follow at Hays High School. Live coverage includes The Hays High Sports Network and Eagle Radio.
