The Hays High girls will appear in their second ever state title game late Saturday afternoon when they face-off with St. James Academy.
Hays (25-1) earned their spot in the championship game with a 66-41 win over Shawnee Heights on Friday afternoon. St. James (22-5) jumped out early against top-seeded Andover and won 61-44.
Neither team has won a girls basketball title.
Tip-off for this afternoon is set for 4:30. The Hertz Pregame Show will begin at 4:10 on 96.9 KFIX.
