Beginning on Tuesday, contractors will be upgrading the signal light equipment and wiring for the intersections of 27th&nbsp;and Hall streets and Eighth&nbsp;and Elm streets. 

Throughout the project, the signal lights may be intermittently flashing red, indicating a four-way stop, or even turned off completely. Under these scenarios, the intersection may be controlled with temporary stop signs at some or all legs of the intersection. &nbsp;

Drivers are asked to use extra caution when approaching and entering the intersections. &nbsp;

Avoid these areas, if possible, as travel delays can be expected. &nbsp;

Repairs are expected to be completed on or before the end of the day on Friday.
