The Salvation Army is in need of bell ringers from Nov. 24 through Dec. 23.

The organization has multiple locations in the community where ringers are needed.

All of the money raised in Ellis County stays in Ellis County to help those in need with everything from emergency needs, such as rental assistance, utilities, and medication to hygiene and cleaning supplies.

For more information on how to become a bell ringer, contact Julie Smith at the Salvation Army at 785-621-2794.

The Salvation Army also will have an Angel Tree at Fuzzy's Taco, 4310 Vine St., Hays.

Community members are asked to purchase Christmas gifts for the children who are on the Angel Tree.

If you need a little help this year, stop in the Salvation Army, 203 E. Seventh St., Hays, to pick up your Angel Tree applications. Applications will be accepted through Nov. 30.
