NESS COUNTY - K-96 traffic will be reduced to one lane starting on Monday, May 15, from the U.S. 283/K-96 junction east 12 miles to the Ness/Rush county line. 

This K-96 resurfacing project consists of a shoulder widening and mill and overlay. Motorists should be aware of delays of up to 15 minutes as one-lane traffic will be directed by flaggers and a pilot car through the work zone. The lane reduction will be marked by signs and cones. 

K-96 will be open to normal traffic when construction is not taking place.
