On Monday, construction will begin in Hays on Phase 2 of 230th Avenue and 55th Street intersection project, which consists of new curb and gutter, and concrete pavement for the intersection and 230th Avenue approximately ¼ mile north.
During Phase 2, 230th Avenue will be closed north of 55th Street for the remainder of the project.
The only allowable movement through the intersection of 230th Avenue and 55th Street will be a right turn from northbound 230th to eastbound 55th Street.
Access to Celebration Community Church will be from 55th Street only and access to businesses and areas along 230th Street north of 55th Street will be from the north via Feedlot Road. See location map.
