Hays Public Library
This year’s sixth annual Hays Public Library Foundation Fundraiser will feature guest speaker Al Struttman, owner of Moburts Spices & More in Topeka. The Wine & Cheese event will be on Saturday, November 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hays Public Library.
Moburts, a specialty spice and oil store in downtown Topeka, is renowned for its exceptional selection of premium spices, handcrafted spice blends, herbs, salts, sugars, California olive oils and wine vinegars, and authentic Italian balsamic vinegars.
The fundraiser will begin with a wine and cheese social hour, followed by a presentation from Struttman. During the presentation, Struttman will share the story behind his products, highlight their unique flavors, and offer tips and inspiration for incorporating them into everyday cooking.
Tickets cost $40 and can be purchased at the library or online at hayslibrary.org/event beginning September 1. There are a limited number of tickets.

The Hays Public Library Foundation was established in 2001 to serve as a source for funding emergent and unexpected needs and events associated with the library. Most recently the Foundation’s fundraising efforts covered the cost to remodel the Kansas Room.
