Sister Jolene Geier, 84, died September 14, 2022, at the Dominican 
Sisters of Peace motherhouse in Great Bend.&nbsp; She was born January 1, 
1938, in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Anthony and Josephine 
Lavenstein Geier.&nbsp;

She entered the Dominican Sisters community in 1952 and pronounced 
vows in 1955.&nbsp; In 2020, she celebrated sixty-five years of religious 
profession. Sister Jolene began her ministry as an elementary school 
teacher, serving in Kansas and Colorado schools. A call to pastoral 
ministry took her to St. Joseph Memorial Hospital as well as Sacred 
Heart Parish, both in Larned, Kansas. In the 1970s, she began developing
 what would become the Associates of the Kansas Dominicans. She also 
served the congregation as justice promoter. Her final years in ministry
 were spent on the staff of Heartland Center for Spirituality, Great 
Bend, Kansas.

Sister Jolene was preceded in death by her parents.&nbsp; She is survived 
by brothers Alan, Danny and Larry Geier, sisters Barbara Jean Schartz, 
Katherine Rhodes and Lola Wilson, several nieces and nephews, as well as
 the Dominican Sisters of Peace.&nbsp;

A Wake Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 17.&nbsp; 
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 on Saturday, September 17.&nbsp;
 Both will take place at the Sisters’ Convent.&nbsp; Burial will be in the 
Sisters’ Resurrection Cemetery.

Robert Lee Nolan Jr., 51, Hays, died Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at HaysMed.

He was born August 3, 1971, in Great 
Bend, the son of Robert L. and Wanda (Burress) Nolan.&nbsp; He graduated from
 Hays High School in 1989 and from Barton County Community College.&nbsp; 
Robert dedicated his life to service and saving lives.&nbsp; He was a Captain
 with the Hays Fire Department then worked for Ellis County EMS and was a
 flight paramedic with EagleMed.&nbsp; In 2019, he received the AAMS Critical
 Care Ground Award.&nbsp; Robert was a member of St. Nicholas of Myra 
Catholic Church, an Ozzy Osbourne fan, and car enthusiast.&nbsp; Most of all,
 he loved his dogs and helping with wheat harvest.

Survivors include his partner: Patrick 
(Meyeres) Nolan of Hays, Mother and step-father: Wanda and Ron Dodson of
 Hays, step-mother: Mary Nolan of Wichita, four brothers: Scott Nolan 
and wife Denise of Moses Lake, WA, Stacey Nolan of Hays, Les Nolan and

Robert Lee Nolan Jr.

Mickey Yvonne Jones, 79, died September 13, 2022, at Legend of 
Hutchinson. She was born December 3, 1942, in Kingman, to Eugene E. and 
Elizabeth “Dixie” (Dixon) Fisher.

Mickey graduated from Fairfield South High School, Turon.&nbsp; She 
received her Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Fort Hays State 
University, where she was certified to teach both instrumental and vocal
 music. After graduation, Mickey found her true passion as an elementary
 school vocal music teacher.&nbsp; She instilled her infectious love of music
 to her students and two children.&nbsp; Mickey also taught in her home both 
private voice and piano lessons, and prepared hundreds of students for 
music contests. Prior to moving to Hutchinson, Mickey was active in the 
Bucklin United Methodist Church, where she served as choir director, and
 was a member of the Dodge City Sweet Adelines.&nbsp;&nbsp; In addition, Mickey 
was the director for the 21st Century Learning Academy in 
Mullinville, helping countless students receive their high school 
diploma.&nbsp; Mickey enjoyed collecting Hummels, and was member of Delta 
Kappa Gamma, Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson and DOERS 
Sunday school class.

On December 22, 1963, she married John Paul Jones, at College Hill United Methodist Church, Wichita.

Mickey is survived by:&nbsp; her husband of almost 59 years, John Paul of 
Hutchinson; children, Jason Jones (Tracy) of Hesston, Jacque Wilburn 
(Darren) of Overland Park; sister, Donna Fisher of Wichita; 
grandchildren, Alexander Eckhoff (Kayla), Nicholas Eckhoff, Jace Jones, 
Chrision Wilburn, Alayna Wilburn, Kyra Wilburn, Dalyn Wilburn, and 
Quinton Wilburn; great-grandson, Elliott Eckhoff; great-granddaughter, 
Adelaide Eckhoff; niece, Suzi Casement (Bert Boden); seven foreign 
exchange students; and her beloved dog, Joey.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Julie Michele Jones.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2022, at

Mickey Yvonne Jones

Gladys M. Nettleingham, 92, died September 14, 2022, at Medicalodges,
 Great Bend, Kansas.&nbsp; She was born February 27, 1930, on the farm near 
Susank, Kansas, the daughter of Emanuel and Alma E. (Miller) Ehrlich.

On May 17, 1948, she married LaVerne Eugene Nettleingham at the Emmaus Lutheran Church, Hoisington, Kansas.

Gladys was a tried and true farm wife, working along side LaVerne and
 raising their four children together on the farm near Galatia.&nbsp; She was
 a longtime member of Concordia Lutheran Church, teaching Sunday School 
for over 40 years.&nbsp; Gladys was also active on the Election Board and as a
 project leader for 4-H. She was talented with needle and thread, 
enjoying embroidery work and being part of the Nifty Needleworkers Club.
 She loved bowling, time outside gardening, watching her birds, and 
cheering on her Royals team.

She is survived by; two sons, Kent Nettleingham and Kevin 
Nettleingham, both of Galatia; daughter, Colette Keeler and husband Ray 
of Great Bend; son-in-law, Steve Bilyew of Claflin; brother, Leonard 
Ehrlich of Great Bend; and sister, Irene Jacobs of Great Bend; eight 
grandchildren, three step grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, six 
step great grandchildren, and two step great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, LaVerne Nettleingham, 
daughter, Coleen Bilyew, daughter-in-law, Suzy Nettleingham, and a 
brother, Roland Ehrlich.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, with family to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m., all at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2022, at

Calvin James Wittman, age 80, passed away on September 12, 2022, at 
the Methodist N. Hospital, Memphis, TN.&nbsp; Calvin was born south of 
Bazine, Kansas, on May 17, 1942, the son of Theodore and Wilma Hoersch 
Wittman.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022, 10:00 
a.m. at the St. Paul's Congregational Church, Bazine followed by burial

Calvin James Wittman

Phyllis Ann Thon, 78, passed away on January 31, 2022, at the Prairie 
Senior Living Complex in Colby, Kansas.  She was born on July 15, 1943, 
in Lacrosse, Kansas to Carl and Rosa (Michel) Cheney. 

She graduated 
from Dighton High School and then went on to marry Carrol Bryant. To 
this marriage was born four children. Lance Bryant, LaRae Bryant, Layne 
Bryant, and LaTasha Bryant. Phyllis and Carrol divorced in 1990. 
Phyllis married Clifford A. Thon in May of 1991. They lived in Dighton,
 Kansas until moving to Park Lane Independent Living in Scott City, 
Kansas in 2013. They later moved to Prairie Senior Living Complex in 
Colby, Kansas in 2014. 
Despite all her health issues, Phyllis tried to make the most of each 
day. She never met a stranger and loved to talk to people and tell them
 about her very interesting life story. 
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, her son Lance, her sister Margie, and her husband, Clifford Thon.

Randall Robert “Randy” Chaffee, 71, Junction City, died Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

He was born December 11, 1950, in Clay 
Center, the son of Robert Calvin and LaVern Evelyn (Hahn) Chaffee.&nbsp; He 
was a graduate of Riley County High School and Manhattan Technical 
School.&nbsp; He was the owner and operator of Randy’s Marine Service Inc. 
in Junction City.&nbsp; His hobbies included dirt track racing, boating, 
water skiing, racing, hot rods, and Nascar.&nbsp; Most of all, he loved his 
sons, family, and dogs.

Survivors include two sons:&nbsp; Neal 
Chaffee and Brent Chaffee, both of Hays, a brother:&nbsp; John Chaffee and 
wife Joyce of Leonardville, and a niece:&nbsp; Christina Hollen of Russell.&nbsp; 
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister:&nbsp; Leah Hollen Ramsey, 
and a nephew: Corey Hollen.&nbsp;&nbsp;

William J. Tucker, age 85, a proud veteran of the United States Navy and National Guard, passed away September 10, 2022, at the Central Nebraska Veterans Home in Kearney, NE.

William, or Bill as he was affectionately known, was born January 27, 1937, in Chicago, IL to Adolph and Gladys (née Vinpany) Tucker. Bill enjoyed many self-employment jobs throughout his life, a mechanic, tree trimmer, plumber, and a "Jack of all Trades, Master of None." He was most proud of the time he spent serving his country as a sailor in the United States Navy and then later as a soldier in the National Guard.

Bill accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at Christmastime in 2018.

William Tucker

Nadine Kay Erskin, 76, passed away September 12, 2022, at her home in
 Garden City. She was born on May 1, 1946, in Great Bend, to Earl N. 
Adams, Sr. &amp; Mildred (Thomason) Adams. She married Jim Newkirk on 
May 1, 1962, in Great Bend and they later divorced.&nbsp; Two children were 
born to this union; Mike and Angela.&nbsp; She then married Joe Erskin on 
April 11, 1987, in Hoisington, and he survives.

A resident of Great Bend until 1987 when she moved to Garden City, 
Nadine was a deaf interpreter for the Holcomb School District, Garden 
City School District and Garden City Community College. She formerly 
attended First Street Church of God in Hoisington and First United 
Methodist Church of Garden City. Nadine was a passionate collector of 
Mickey Mouse memorabilia and especially loved to spend time with her 
family.&nbsp; She will be fondly remembered for her generous and caring 
heart.

Survivors include, her husband, Joe Erskin of the home; a son, Mike

Caroletta Ruth “Carol” Larkin, 78, La Crosse, Kansas, passed away 
Monday, September 12, 2022, at Locust Grove Village, La Crosse, Kansas.

Carol was born October 13, 1943, in Rush Center, Kansas, the daughter
 of Frank U. and Della Dean (Newbury) Kershner.&nbsp; She was a lifelong 
resident of Rush County, Kansas.&nbsp; She was a 1961 graduate of La Crosse 
High School, La Crosse, Kansas.

Before her retirement, Carol was the CFO at Rush County Memorial 
Hospital, La Crosse, Kansas. Prior to being the CFO, she was the 
administrator of the hospital for over 20 years.&nbsp;

Carol enjoyed reading; working crossword puzzles; collecting Coke 
memorabilia; playing the piano; watching tv; crafting small woodworking 
projects; and researching her family history.

Among some of the things Carol is remembered for, is her accounting 
skills and her ability to remember numbers; and what a “planner” she 
was.

On January 28, 1972, she married Charlie Depperschmidt in Oklahoma.&nbsp; They later divorced in 1979.

Survivors include:&nbsp; her daughter, Kelli Legleiter, (Craig), La 
Crosse, Kansas; her grandson, Ryan Legleiter, La Crosse, Kansas; one 
brother, Jim Kershner (Sherry), La Crosse, Kansas; and one sister, Edra 
Powell (Tim), Sanger, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and &nbsp;her former husband.

Per Carol’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation.

A memorial service will be Monday, September 19, 2022, at 10:30 A.M. 
at the United Methodist Church, La Crosse, Kansas, with Pastor Scott 
Tempero officiating.&nbsp; A private family inurnment will be in Locust Hill 
Cemetery, Rush Center, Kansas.

Kenneth L. Wing, 84, passed peacefully at his home in Mt. Vernon, MO on September 8, 2022.&nbsp; Ken was born December 28, 1937, the third son of Lester and Emma Mae (King) Wing. Ken grew up in Hays and graduated from St. Joseph’s Military Academy in 1955. Upon his graduation, he immediately left to pursue a career with the Marine Corps. He served 18 years with the Marines which included three tours of Viet Nam and one tour of Okinawa.

After retiring from the Corps, Ken spent several years in the National Guard Reserves with the Hays and Hutchinson units. He completed a Tech degree at Pittsburg State College during that time. He later returned to Hays and taught Auto Mechanics for several years at the NCK Technical College. Ken married Chiyoko Wing in 1973.&nbsp; She preceded him in death in 1996. Ken married Sharon Vestal in 2013.&nbsp; Survivors include his wife Sharon of the home, children Melinda and Dennis, Texas, step-children Cindy (Phil) Denning, Chaz Carroll, Candi Castillo, and seven step-grandchildren, brothers Bill (Alice), Salina, Dale (Mary Ann), Hays, and David (Doris), Hays, along with 10 nieces and nephews.&nbsp; Condolences can be sent to Sharon Wing, 14221 Glenward St. Mt. Bethel Goltl, age 88, passed away on September 11, 2022, in McDonald, Kansas. 
Bethel Louise was born on the farm in Goodland, KS to Edwin and 
Catherine Ochsner on June 3, 1934. She attended country schools and 
graduated from Goodland High. Bethel attended Midland Lutheran College, 
and then nursing training at Trinity Lutheran Hospital, Kansas City. 
After graduation, RN licensure and saving money, Bethel and a good 
friend took a 5-month round-the-world trip to Europe, Africa and Asia. 
While working as a nurse at the Goodland Hospital, she met Lavern Goltl 
through Luther League. They married on June 10, 1961 and settled on the 
Goltl family farm in McDonald. Bethel was an active member of St. John 
Lutheran Church, ELCA Women, quilting and Bible study groups. 
In addition to gardening and farm chores, Bethel guided her children 
through 4-H projects, was gifted at planning illustrated /demonstration 
talks, and was a dedicated group leader for sewing, cooking, baking and 
crafts. She helped sew several of the square-dancing outfits for 4-H. 
Bethel hosted many family gatherings and holiday meals and was a favorite aunt of many beloved nieces and nephews. 
Bethel was preceded in death by her parents; sister Barbara Rieb; 
husband Lavern; traveling companion and significant other, Don Bruder; 
sisters-in law, Helen, Irene, Edith, Esther and several nieces and 
nephews. 
Bethel is survived by children Matt Goltl, of Wichita, KS, David Goltl, 
of New York City, NY, Alan Goltl, of Wichita, Amy Waters and Mike, of 
Cimarron, KS; grandchildren Ellen McCloskey and Andrew, Owen Waters,

Annette Schoenthaler, 82, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Friday, 
September 9, 2022 in Wichita. Annette was born the daughter of Clemens 
and Firmina Bittel on January 27, 1940, in Hays, Kansas. Annette and 
Robert Schoenthaler were united in marriage on April 18, 1959, in Ellis, 
Kansas. 

Annette was very active in charity work, especially in the

Annette Schoenthaler

Robert D. McChesney was born November 13, 1932, in Norton, KS to David
 and Mildred (Rule) McChesney. He passed away September 9, 2022, at the 
Norton County Hospital at the age of 89.

Bob grew up in the Norton
 area with two brothers (Richard and Ronald). They all moved to 
Steamboat Springs, CO when they were kids for a few years and then 
returned to Norton for the rest of their childhood.

Bob served in 
the US Army during the Korean War and spent 18 months there. When he 
returned from Korea, he used his GI Bill to learn the trade of autobody.
 He was recognized by the Ford Motor company for his skills. Later he 
taught at Aims Community College in Greeley, CO.

Bob married Eva 
Lee Weems in 1956 in Norton, KS. They made their home in LaSalle, CO for
 over 20 years. In 1976, they both returned to Norton to start a dairy. 
He truly loved his cows and farming. He enjoyed playing in the dirt much
 better than being in the city.

Bob
 had many hobbies over the years, while in Korea he bought a camera and 
learned photography. In his younger years, he hunted with great friends 
in the Colorado mountains. He was a rockhound which turned in to a 
family hobby. He received national awards for his work. He enjoyed 
having family and friends stop by to visit and have a cold beer.

Bob
 was a member of the VFW in Evans, Co, Norton Eagles Lodge, 
Harmonson-Redd American Legion Post 63, the Odd Fellows, and he served 
on the Oronoque Cemetery Board.

Bob was preceded in death by his 
parents; wife, Eva Lee in 1981; wife, Charlene in 2000; brother, Ronald 
McChesney, sister-in-law, Gloria McChesney, and special friend Lottie 
Wiltfong. He is survived by his son, Ricky McChesney of Norton; 
daughter, Penny (Bill) Cecil of Greeley, CO; stepchildren: Charla 
(Loren) Thomas of Stockton, KS and Tom (Debbie) New of Ellsworth, KS; 
sister-in-law, Terry McChesney of Oberlin, KS; grandchildren: Nick

Nina Jeanne Henson (Randle), 84, died September 10, 2022, at the Town of Vici Nursing Home in Vici, Oklahoma. 
She was born June 30, 1938, at Tucker Hospital in Elkhart, Kansas, the 
daughter of Glenn and Thelma (Dixon) Randle. She was a 1956 graduate of
 Rolla High School. A resident of Rolla until 1962 when they moved to 
Liberal where she resided until 1973 before moving to Hugoton where she 
lived until 2016. She then lived in the Woodward, Oklahoma, area until 
her death. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and 
great-grandmother. 
On August 21, 1955, she married A. Wayne Henson at Rolla. 
Survivors include a son Darl Henson and wife Barbara of Emporia, Kansas;
 a daughter Dixie Failes and husband Terry of Woodward, Oklahoma; a 
sister Glenetta Cooper of Tyrone, Oklahoma; a sister Annetta Dirks of 
Wakeeney, Kansas; a brother Randy Randle of Rolla, Kansas; 8 grandkids; 7
 great-grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one sister. 
Graveside service will be held at the Rolla Cemetery in Rolla at 1:30

Nina Jeanne Henson

Terry Dean Tennyson, 72, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, 
with complications from dementia. He was surrounded by music, singing and the love of his family.

Terry was born September 30, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas, to Phillip and 
Verla Tennyson. Terry graduated from Plainville High School and attended
 college at Fort Hays State University as well as Brown Mackie College.

Terry was united in marriage to Melanie (Voelzke) on September 3rd, 
1971, in Salina, Kansas. Terry and Melanie were blessed by three 
children; Travis, Tricia, and Tracie.

In 1974, Terry began working for Beechcraft in Salina before 
transferring to the Wichita plant in 1988, at which time the family 
relocated to Augusta. Terry worked there for 40 years before retiring. 
Terry loved playing the bass guitar and did so the majority of his life.
 Terry played in many bands through the years including Justice, Freed, 
and The Matt Engels Band, just to name a few.

Music was Terry’s passion, and his five grandchildren were his pride.
 If you wanted to see Terry’s eyes light up, talking to him about his 
family would do just that.

Terry is survived by his wife Melanie and their children Travis 
Tennyson of Augusta, Tricia and husband Eric Brown of Augusta, and 
Tracie Tennyson and wife Ashlie Krieger of Eau Claire, Michigan. 
Grandchildren include Easton, Ericson, and Emmett Brown (Tricia), and 
Vaughn and Vivian Tennyson (Travis). Terry is also survived by his 
siblings Kathy Brown (Phil Schultz) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Deb Rice 
(Mike) of Wichita, and Randy Tennyson (Pam) of Augusta, as well as 
nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at FlutterBye Ranch 
between Augusta and Leon on Sunday, September 25th, from 2:00pm to 
4:00pm, come and go.

Larry D. Ries, 84, died Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Ness County 
Hospital, Ness City, KS.&nbsp; He was born on July 18, 1938, in Ness City, 
the son of Emil and Rachel (Wittig) Ries.&nbsp; He graduated from Bazine High
 School in 1956.&nbsp; He joined the US Army in 1957 until 1959 and was 
stationed in Seoul, Korea during the Korean War.

He married Josephine Falcon on August 17, 1963, at St. Luke’s 
Lutheran Church in Bazine, KS.&nbsp; They moved to Dodge City where he worked
 for Pepsi Cola. Later they owned Trail Street Tavern and Wyatt Earp 
Hotel in the 1960’s.&nbsp; They moved to Denver where he worked at Montgomery
 Wards, then owned House of TV’s.

He moved his family back to Ness City in 1983 and owned Balloon’s 
West Restaurant.&nbsp; In 1985, they owned the Cozy Tavern and enjoyed making
 people laugh for 24 years. He loved to travel to Estes Park and 
spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Josephine; sons: Wayne 
(Marilyn) Ries of Casa Grande, AZ; Sean (Erin) Ries of Ness City; 
daughter: Jolene (Steven) Morgan of LaCrosse; grandchildren: Nicholas 
Ries, Paige (Todd) Waye, Taylor and Hunter Morgan; step grandchildren: 
Katie (Brandon) and Alden; and step great granddaughter, Olivia; and 
many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; 
in-laws: Pedro and Margaret Falcon; sisters in law: Mary Alvarez and 
Gloria Falcon; and brother in law Frankie Falcon.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, 10:30
 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City followed by burial and 
military rites in the Bazine Cemetery.&nbsp; Viewing will be at the funeral

Lee Cash Beeson, age 57, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022, at
 The Denver Hospice Center in Denver, Colorado.&nbsp; He was born on January 
12, 1965, in Garden City, Kansas, the son of John Clifford and Connie 
Sue Meyer Beeson.&nbsp; A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, he was a 
truck driver for B&amp;H Paving in Scott City, Kansas.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas, and the United Rebel Sprint Car Series.

Survivors include his Mother - Connie Beeson of Hutchinson, Kansas,

Donald H. Burton, 97, of Russell,&nbsp;Kansas, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at&nbsp;Main Street Manor of Russell.

Donald was born June 2, 1925, in Hays, Kansas. &nbsp;He&nbsp;was the son of Harold N. and Helen M. (Truan) Burton. &nbsp;They lived&nbsp;in Hays&nbsp;and moved to Russell when he started school. &nbsp;He graduated from Russell High School in 1943.

Donald served his country in the U.S. Army Air&nbsp;Corp from 1943 to 1945. He was a&nbsp;Bombardier&nbsp;Navigator and a Flying&nbsp;Warrant&nbsp;Officer.&nbsp;&nbsp;After&nbsp;his tour of&nbsp;duty, he returned to Kansas and attended Kansas University School of Pharmacy&nbsp;from which he graduated in 1952.

Donald was united in marriage to&nbsp;Jaclyn Louise Lewis on August 29, 1949, in Russell. &nbsp;This union was blessed with a son, Hal. &nbsp;They lived in Russell for a few years before moving to Beloit, Kansas in 1955. &nbsp;Then&nbsp;in 1959, they moved to Great Bend,&nbsp;Kansas. &nbsp;In 1967, they purchased a pharmacy in Russell&nbsp;and operated Burton Pharmacy until its closing in 1990.

Donald was a Pharmacist&nbsp;in Russell, Beloit&nbsp;and Great Bend.&nbsp;In his later career&nbsp;he served as a reliefpharmacist in a dozen&nbsp;Central and Western&nbsp;Kansas towns.&nbsp;He received an Award for over 60&nbsp;years in Pharmacy from the Kansas Board of Pharmacy.&nbsp;&nbsp;He&nbsp;enjoyed collecting&nbsp;jazz&nbsp;records, tending his flowergarden and working&nbsp;and carving&nbsp;of wood.

Donald’s surviving family include his son, Hal Burton of Russell, Kansas; sisters, Helen Lynn&nbsp;Coyle of Georgetown, Texas and Cynthia Burton&nbsp;Jones&nbsp;of Georgetown, Texas; two&nbsp;nieces&nbsp;and five nephews.

Donald&nbsp;was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jaclyn&nbsp;on&nbsp;January 26, 2021, and&nbsp;sisters, Patricia Hower and Beverly Maupin.

Celebration of Life and Musical Tribute for Donald will be held at&nbsp;11&nbsp;A.M. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022,&nbsp;at the&nbsp;Deines Cultural Center of Russell. &nbsp;Cremation has been selected by the family and burial ofashes will follow at the Russell City Cemetery. &nbsp;Family will be&nbsp;present to&nbsp;greet friends from&nbsp;10 A.M.&nbsp;to&nbsp;service time. &nbsp;Military honors will be presented by the Russell V.F.W. Post #6240. &nbsp;

Memorials have been&nbsp;established&nbsp;with the Deines Cultural Center or Smoky&nbsp;Hill Public Television. &nbsp;Contributions and condolences may be sent to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler&nbsp;Mortuary, who is in charge of these arrangements.
