Longtime Kanorado, KS resident Juan Peña, 61, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021, at his home in Kanorado.

Juan was born on July 4, 1959, in Lubbock County, TX to Amador and 
Francesca (Aguirre) Peña.&nbsp; He was one of twelve children.&nbsp; He attended 
school through the 2nd grade.&nbsp; He worked for many years as a farmhand.&nbsp;

He was a metal collector and enjoyed fishing, listening to oldies, 
gardening, cruising around town and loved being with family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, four brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his two children Cynthia Peña of Alabama, Juan 
(Lily) Peña, Jr. of Oklahoma; his six siblings; Dora Kicklighter, Robert
 Peña, Angelita Molina and Domingo Peña all of Alabama, and Linda Molina
 and Tirzo Peña of Florida; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and 
grandchildren.
