KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State freshman kicker Kole Rogers earned MIAA Special Teams Athlete of the Week honors, presented by FieldTurf, for the final week of the 2025 regular season on Monday (Nov. 17). He was instrumental in Fort Hays State's 13-7 win over Emporia State back on Saturday.

Rogers was perfect on his kicking attempts in the low-scoring battle between the Tigers and Hornets. In the first quarter, he connected from 41 yards to put the Tigers on top 3-0 and later in that quarter added a PAT to extend the lead to 10-0. In the fourth quarter, he booted through a 43-yarder to put the Tigers up 13-0. His seven points were crucial for the Tiger win, while he also averaged 63.8 yards per kickoff.

Rogers joined Jackson Berry of Pittsburg State (Offensive Athlete of the Week) and Landon Boss of Emporia State (Defensive Athlete of the Week) as the weekly honorees from the conference office.
