Cheryl K. France, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas.  She was born on May 17, 1945, in Ellsworth, Kansas, the daughter of Arthur A. and Catherine E. Janssen Huseman. She was a dietitian and homemaker.

On August 8, 1967, she married Lester D. Martin.  He passed away on May 26, 2004, in Scott City, Kansas. On July 19, 1991, Cheryl married her longtime friend, Leon E. France, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Together they enjoyed traveling, spending time with their children, grandchildren, and friends and family.

Survivors include her sister, Joann and Jerry Riemann of Dighton, Kansas, one daughter, Tracy France of Roeland Park, Kansas, two sons, Clint & Amy France of Marienthal, Kansas, and Heath & Tara France of Ransom, Kansas, two brothers-in-law, Ron & Carrie France of Garden City, Kansas, and Ted France of Scott City, Kansas, two nieces, Chanelle & Corey Stephens of Dighton, Kansas and Kim and Mark Sorenson of Garden City, Kansas, Six Grandchildren – Caleb & Kennedie, Madison, Ivan, Delaney, Calli and Jury, Two Great Grandchildren - Prim and Holt.

She was preceded in death by her Father & Mother, One Special Aunt - Velma Huseman, Husband - Lester D. Martin, Husband - Leon E. France, Two Sons – Justin Martin, Dallas Martin, One Brother – Bill Huseman, and One Daughter-in-law, Kandice Martin.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas, with Rev. Rodney Hopper and presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.

Memorials can be made out to the First Christian Church in care of Price & Sons Funeral Homes.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
