U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran, R-Kan., this week announced he will be holding his 15th annual Conservation on Thursday. This tour will include five stops across Sheridan, Logan, Thomas and Sherman counties to focus on conservation issues important to Kansas, including water and soil conservation, wetland restoration, grazing lands and prescribed burning.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Acting Chief for Natural Resources Conservation Service, Kevin D. Norton will be participating in the tour. Media is invited on the tour, and Sen. Moran and Acting Chief Norton will hold a media availability at Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park.
