TREGO COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just before 5 p.m. Monday in Trego County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Ford Expedition driven by Garrett Todd Williams, 23, Marquette, was eastbound on Interstate 70 two miles east of U.S. 283.
The driver lost control due to the weather and struck a piece of pavement at the turn around. The SUV rolled and came to rest on its top in the median.
EMS transported Williams and a passenger Jeffery Todd Williams, 56, Geneseo, to the hospital in WaKeeney.
Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
