The TMP-Marian softball team had six players named to the Sports in Kansas All-State Team on Wednesday.
The Monarchs were headlined by junior pitcher Brynn Rebel, who earned first-team honors.
Rebel led the Monarchs in nearly every pitching and offensive category.
She finished the season with a 14-2 record and a 1.64 ERA. In 98 innings, Rebel struck out 139 batters.
At the plate, Rebel hit .621 with 10 home runs, 38 extra-base hits, 61 RBIs and 57 runs scored. Her 23 doubles set a new TMP single-season record, while her 43 career doubles established a school career record. She also set the program record for hits in a season with 64.
Brynn Schoepf also was named to the Sports in Kansas first team as an outfielder.
Schoepf finished the season with a .505 batting average, 50 hits, 29 RBIs and 48 runs scored. She also stole a school-record 30 bases.
Sophomore catcher Paige Koenigsman and juniors Molly Helget, an outfielder, and Bria Windholz, a utility/designated player, were named to the second team.
Koenigsman finished with a .480 batting average, 47 hits, 16 extra-base hits and 41 RBIs. Helget recorded a .380 batting average and scored 28 runs, while Windholz went 12-1 with a 1.44 ERA and 60 strikeouts in the circle. She also batted .406 with 31 RBIs.
The Monarchs' lone senior, Adison Watson, was named honorable mention.
She finished with a .376 batting average and scored 32 runs.
As a team, the Monarchs finished with a school-record 27 wins and set a program record with 355 hits.
The Monarchs qualified for state for the second time in three years before losing to Uniontown, 4-3, in the first round.
