A little more rain fell in Hays Wednesday evening.
According to the K-State Agricultural Research Center, 0.30 of an inch of rain was the result after a thunderstorm moved across the area.
The amount of rain measured at the Eagle Media Center, 2300 Hall, was 0.36 of an inch.
The 159-year cumulative moisture average for the year at the end of July is 14.67 inches. So far in 2026, Hays has had 13.03 inches of moisture.
The weather forecast calls for chances of rain tonight and again Saturday night.
