Smoky Hills PBS receives grant from Schmidt Foundation

BUNKER HILL – The Robert E. and Patricia A. Schmidt Foundation has awarded Smoky Hills PBS with a grant for $5,000.

The Foundation’s grant will support a variety of programs and initiatives at Smoky Hills PBS.

“The Robert E. and Patricia A. Schmidt Foundation has been a trusted partner of ours for many years,” said Kelli King, Smoky Hills PBS Director of Finance and Administration. “These funds help ensure the future of Smoky Hills PBS now and for years to come.”

The Robert E. and Patricia A. Schmidt Foundation was founded in Ellis County to support projects that include arts, culture and education.

Smoky Hills PBS serves 71 counties in central and western Kansas and has been named the Kansas Association of Broadcasters Non-Metro Station of the Year.
