TREGO COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Wednesday in Trego County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Honda passenger vehicle driven by Johnston, Dustin L. Johnston, 38, Wichita, westbound on Interstate 70 three miles west of the Ellis County line.
The driver lost control of the vehicle when he attempted to pass a semi. The Honda entered the north ditch, rolled and came to rest on its top.
EMS transported Johnston to Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
