🏀 HHS girls hold, Victoria boys debut in latest KBCA rankings

The undefeated Hays High girls’ basketball team remained fourth in the latest Kansas Basketball Coaches Association Class 5A rankings out Tuesday afternoon. The Indians are 15-0 and will host state-ranked Liberal Friday. The Redskins girls returned to the 6A poll at No. 9.

The Hoxie girls moved up a spot to No. 5 in Class 2A. Oakley also moved up a spot to No. 9.  The Quinter girls held at No. 7 in 1A Division 1. Wheatland-Grinnell jumped two spots to No. 8 in 1A Division 1.

The Victoria boys are ranked for the first time this season at No. 10 in 1A Division 2. The Knights ate 10-7 but have won three-straight and four of their last five games.

Great Bend remained fourth in 5A.

Logan-Palco held at No. 3 in 1A Division 1.
