
Karen Marie Bell, 84, Stockton, Kansas, passed away June 10, 2025, at the Rooks County Hospital in Plainville, Kansas. She was born October 1, 1940, in Palco, Kansas to Forrest J. and Olive Zeta (Desbien) Stull.
Karen married James Bartos. To this union two daughters, Kim and Mona, were born. She later married Elwyn Bell and to this union four sons were added to their family: Michael, Rodney, Eric, and Shawn. Karen was an extremely dedicated mother and grandma. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing all kinds of arts and craft.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents Olive and Forrest; her husbands, James Bartos and Elwyn Bell; her two sisters, Margie Roberts and Delora Teasley; and her son Eric.
Survivors of Karen include: two daughters Kim and Darren Schneider of Gorham, Kansas and Mona Chase of Wakeeney; three sons: Michael and Jeanette Bell of Kirkland, Washington, Rodney and Carolina Bell of Peoria, Arizona, and Shawn Bell and Michelle Marguardt of Show Low, Arizona; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. Karen will be truly missed by all who loved her. She touched so many lives and memories of her will be cherished forever.
