Michael 'Mike' J. Keiley

Michael “Mike” J. Keiley, 84, passed away February 24, 2021, at Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.

He was born December 27, 1936, at Hillsdale, MI, the son of Seth William and Ila Almina Deuel Keiley and raised by George “Frank” Trine.

A longtime area resident, he was of the Episcopalian faith and was a high school math teacher at Boys Tech in Milwaukee, WI.  He also taught photography and took the boys to state many times as their Cross Country Coach.  He was a member of the American Legion and served in the United States Air Force.

On August 20, 1966, he married Mary E. Burns in Jetmore.  She passed away June 18, 2003.

Survivors include: his best friend, Pete; two daughters, Colette (Darrell) Prellwitz, Port Washington, WI, Colleen (Brad) Bergmann, Florissant, CO; son, Michael Keiley, Oak Creek, WI; sister, Edith (Tom) Bletcher, Ann Arbor, MI; three grandchildren, Brynna, Kiley and Addison; brother-in-law, Harry Burns, Jetmore; sister-in-law, Betty Romero, Spirit Lake, IA and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Keiley; sister, Julie Murphy and a grandson, Spencer Joseph Bergmann.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore with Rev. Mark Durham presiding.  Service will be viewable via Facebook live at www.facebook.com/beckwithmortuary.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore.
