The fund is seeking $10,000 for Frick's family.
“Brandon was an amazing husband, father, son, family member and friend to many. His loss is being felt big, by all who knew and loved him," the GoFundMe account said.
"So many lives were changed in a matter of minutes without the chance to say goodbye. Lives shattered. Hearts broken. There's never an 'easy' time to lose a loved one, but the holiday season is always a little more difficult,” the GoFundMe reads.
"While Brandon did have a life insurance policy, it won't cover all of the costs of a funeral. The support given to Carrie, [Brandon's wife,] will help her with covering the balance of those expenses," according to the GoFundMe account.
"Anything beyond that, will be set aside for, Jasper, [their son] and if necessary, help make their lives a little easier. A huge link in their family has been taken away, and one can only imagine how overwhelming the world feels right now.
"If Carrie needs extra time off work, to help her and Jasper adjust to the loss of Brandon, hopefully, we can allow her to do that. At age 5, you may not really comprehend what death is, but you can guarantee he wonders where his daddy is. Carrie now has to help him understand, while managing her own grief and daily life."
