Hays Post Sports
Despite winning both of their games last week, both the Hays High boys and girls dropped a spot in the latest 5A rankings from the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association released Tuesday afternoon. The Indians (16-1) are now fifth and the boys (14-3) seventh.
The TMP-Marian boys make their first appearance in the 2A rankings. The Monarchs (13-5) have won five-straight.
The Victoria boys moved up a spot in to eighth in 1A Division II. Wheatland-Grinnell moved up to to sixth.
Two Mid-Continent League girls teams remain ranked. Hoxie remains third and Oakley is up a spot to eighth in Class 2A.
The Quinter girls are up two spots to sixth in 1A Division I, Dighton dropped five spots to sixth in 1A Division II. Wheatland-Grinnell moved up one slot to eighth.
