The Monarchs trailed 3-2, just one possession before an offensive rebound and put-back by Raegan Allen put TMP up 4-3 with six minutes left in the first quarter, and they never trailed again.
TMP built an 8-6 lead after the first quarter, and then the three-point shot started to fall for the Monarchs.
Brynn Schoepf started the quarter with back-to-back three pointers, and Hannah Rose closed the quarter the same way, putting TMP up 25-18 at halftime.
The Monarchs' largest lead came in the third quarter following a three-point play by Claire Schippers and a Paige Koenigsman three-pointer for a 36-23 lead.

But Central Plains closed the quarter with five straight, to cut the TMP halftime lead to 26-17.
The Monarchs built an 11-point lead twice in the third quarter and led by 10 with just over two minutes left in the quarter, but the Oilers took advantage of the Monarchs' struggles on offense, outscoring TMP 23-3 over the next 10 minutes as they went from down 10 to up 10 at 47-37.
