Glenda M. Schaffer, 87, passed away December 6, 2020 at Brookdale Senior Living, Dodge City.

She was born April 27, 1933 in Jetmore, the daughter of Carl Lee and Mildred May Cole Bamberger.  A lifetime area resident, she was a farmer/Stockman.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, where she was the funeral dinner chairman for 50 years, American Cancer Society and Friendly Neighbors, all of Jetmore.

On December 9, 1951, she married Earl Ray Schaffer in Jetmore.  He died July 28, 2016.

Survivors include: three daughters, Cindy (Darrell) Schneider and Peggy (Jess) Pitts, both of Jetmore, Sandra (Dale) Hines, Spearville; brother, Norman Bamberger, Jetmore; sister, Karla Dansel, Jetmore; grandchildren, Tonya (Jeremy) Schmeidler, Hays, Traci (Kyle) Jacobs, Gorham, Tera Pitts (Thomas Zuniga), Pueblo, CO, Heather (Josh) Bailey, Rose Hill, Travis Hines, Spearville and nine great grandchildren, Drew, Ty, Jenna, Trace, Carlee, Jaxson, Zoey, Kaydence and Gunner.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlene Jarnagin and Maxine Hann.

Private family service will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at United Methodist Church, Jetmore with Rev. Jeff Hiers and Pastor Peter Mtuamwari presiding.  Service will be viewable via facebook live at www.facebook.com/beckwithmortuary.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore.  A public graveside will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
