The Ellis County Fair’s third grandstand event of the week was the Ranch Rodeo in Hays.

Spectators watched trailer loading and team roping Thursday at the Ellis County Fairgrounds.

A pass covering seven events costs $40, and a single-night admission costs $20. Children age 5 and younger get in free.
