NORTON COUNTY —Some area of northwest Kansas were under a tornado warning Thursday evening. The sheriff's office in Norton said there are no reports of damage and no confirmed tornado in the county.
Norton county did have winds over 50 miles per hour, large hail and over two inches of rain from the storm. The National Weather Service also issued a flash flood warning for Norton, Almena and Dellvale.
