KDHE: 10 new COVID cases in Ellis Co. since Wednesday

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Friday reported 10 new COVID-19 cases in Ellis County had been identified since Wednesday.

As of Wednesday morning, there were 12 COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed, including six active cases and six recovering cases.

The Kansas Hospital Organization reported last week that 54 percent of eligible Ellis County residents (5 and older) are fully vaccinated. 

Since reporting began, there have been 7,105 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 80 coronavirus-related deaths.
