News release
Smoky Hill Country Club, and other local points of interest in Hays, were recently featured in an article on Central Links Golf as being a premier destination in western Kansas that offers a beautiful course and great amenities.
“It’s wonderful to be recognized by Central Links Golf for the amazing course we have," said Kirby Garrison, Smoky Hill Country Club general manager. "We have been told by so many that we are as good, if not better, than many of the courses they play in bigger cities.”
Along with an active membership, Smoky Hill Country Club hosts a variety of local, regional and amateur golf tournaments throughout the year, including the 2021 Kansas Junior Amateur Golf Tournament, all of which bring hundreds of visitors to Hays.
“We take great pride in what we do and realize that we offer something unique to this area," Garrison said.
Central Links Golf is a Kansas City-based organization that helps to serve, promote and grow the golf community in Kansas. The full article, which also mentions Downtown Hays, Gella’s Diner & L.b. Brewing, and Sternberg Museum can be found HERE.
