The Ellis County Commission approved the 2025 financial audit during its Tuesday meeting.
Jami Benyshek with Adams Brown, Hays, which conducted the independent audit, presented her findings to commissioners. Benyshek said the county received a clean audit, meaning its financial records are materially accurate.
"There's no significant deficiencies or material weakness. We also don't have any recommendations noted here," she said.
