Support Fort Hays Tech nursing students during community health fair

Putting the "Heart" in Healthcare!

There’s a common saying that nurses are the backbone of the healthcare system. Well, the future backbones of our community—the Fort Hays Technical - North Central Nursing Students—are stepping out of the classroom and into the community to host a Health Fair and Blood Drive.

This isn't just another event; it’s a chance to invest in the people who will be taking care of us for years to come. Our students have been hitting the books and mastering the clinicals—now, they want to put that passion into practice for you.

Why You Should Be There
Whether you're looking for a quick check-up or want to help save a life, there is a spot for you here.

Free Health Education and assessments: Helpful health tips curated by our nursing cohort.  Heart Health, Nutrition, Post Partum Depression.  Stem Cell registry.  Screenings; Blood Pressure, blood sugar and free vision testing.

Fun & Games: Family friendly activities for all ages. Prizes, games, cotton candy, popcorn, face painting and an obstacle course!

The Gift of Life: We are hosting a Blood Drive concurrently. A single donation can save up to three lives—it’s the ultimate way to pay it forward to accident victims, cancer patients and sickle cell patients.

Support Local Talent: These students are your neighbors, your friends, and your future providers. Your presence gives them invaluable real-world experience and shows them the community has their back.

A Win-Win for the Community
When we support our nursing students, we aren't just helping them pass a class—we are strengthening our local healthcare "immune system." Come for the information, stay for the community spirit, and maybe leave with the satisfaction of knowing you’ve helped a student (and potentially a blood recipient) thrive.
