Please join the Cottonwood Extension District, Clinkscales Elder Law and A Different Mindset Association for two nights of education about Alzheimer’s and Dementia. If you are wanting more information about Alzheimer’s or dementia or you or a loved one has recently been diagnosed, you won’t want to miss the information and support in the two presentations coming up on April 10 and 11.
The first night Karissa Winkel, Family and Community Wellness Agent for K-State Research and Extension will present K-State’s Fact Sheet on Alzheimer’s 101 that will cover topics such as early signs, benefits of early detection, and better brain health. The second night Jill Wechsler-Care Coordinator for Clinkscales Elder Law and A Different Mindset Association will present on best approaches for behaviors related to dementia.
