City of Hays
The Hays Area Planning Commission will meet at 4 p.m. Monday in Hays City Hall to consider the rezoning request from public and institutional to neighborhood shopping district and residential multi-family district for the property at 27th and Main St.
Plans for the site currently owned by the city include the new location of Astra Bank and future mixed-use housing.
Other discussion will involve the preliminary and final planned developments of The Grove, north of Hays Medical Center on Canterbury Drive.
Commissioners will be asked to set public hearing dates of June 17 for both matters.
In other business, the commission will discuss the recent designation of the Hays Area Planning Commission as the Hays Area Board of Zoning Appeals.
