Harvest of Pumpkins. Visit the farmstead with its charming, rural setting. U-Pick-M pumpkins, maze, hayride, farm animals, shop in the barn for candles and fall decor. Open 1-4 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 1-6 p.m. Sunday. Weekdays by appointment. School field trips and tours are welcome.

Friday
4 p.m. — Monster Fest, Russell Public Libary
There will be a presentation on Mary Shelley's novel "Frankenstein" by Stephen Rueff and David Barnhill from SuperMonsterCity. There will also be games, snacks, and prizes. For grades six-12.
6 to 8 p.m. — FHSU Fall Festival
Presented by FHSU Student Engagement and Fraternity and Sorority Life. There will be hayrides, carnival games, caramel apples, a photo booth, pumpkin painting and a trunk-or-treat.
7 to 11 p.m. — Hays Haunted Hotel
Visitors
will encounter both actors and animatronics. There will be some fan
favorites back. The Haunted Hotel will have strobe lights, fog machines,
darkness and loud noises for those that may be sensitive. The maze
also leads into the basement, which will involve stairs. You will need
to allow 15-20 minutes to complete the tour. Supports the CYO.

9:30 to 11:30 a.m. — Howl-O-Ween "PAWS and Treats," Humane Society of the High Plains, 2050 E. U.S. Highway 40, Hays
Join
us for a trunk-or-treat fundraiser for the Hays Humane Society of the
High Plains. Costumes are welcomed but not required. Open to all that
would like to participate.
Prizes for best costume and best pet/owner costume. Judging will begin at 11 a.m. Please keep all pets on leashes at all times. Free-will donations will be accepted.
10 a.m. to noon — Plainville Fall Festival (rescheduled from last weekend), city park
Free chili. Hayrides, bounce house, yard games, obstacle course, Nex-Tech train, drawing for 5-pound candy bar, pumpkin carving and costume contest. Sponsored by the Plainville Recreation Commission.
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Trunk-or-Treat, Russell Main Street
Downtown Russell businesses, Post Rock Family Services and Russell's Masonic Lodge Haunted House will offer a combination of Trunk-or-Treat and Trick-or-Treat immediately following the Jim Thoman Halloween Parade (the parade starts at 10 a.m. at Ninth and Main). The parade will end at the Russell County Courthouse where Post Rock Family Services will have their vehicles parked for trunk or treat. Make your way back Downtown after for business tricks and treats.
1-4 p.m. — Pumpkin Party at Downs Community Garden, 1312 Kansas, Downs
Pumpkins, crafts, games and food.
4 to 6 p.m. — Fall Festival at Bible Baptist Church, 119 S. Second, Osborne
6:30-9:30 p.m. — Hotel Halloween, Ellis VFW
Fresh ice-cold witches brew and candy. Free-will donations will be accepted for the VFW.
7 to 11 p.m. — Hays Haunted Hotel
7:30 to 11:59 p.m. — Flicks at the Crick, Creek Side Resort, 3301 U.S. Highway 183 Alt., Hays
Featuring the original "Hocus Pocus." Halloween costumes are encouraged. S'mores and glow sticks for the kiddos. Free.
7:30 to 9 p.m. — Graveside Conversations at Historic Fort Hays,

Guided tour of the Fort Hays cemetery where you will meet some of its inhabitants from the days of Fort Hays. Through first-person portrayals, visitors will learn how some of the people of Fort Hays lived and died.

1:30 p.m. — Hays Symphony presents Children's Concert: "Disney Magic," Beach Schmidt Performing Arts Center
Free annual children's Halloween concert features thrilling favorites from "Aladdin," "Frozen" and "Pirates of the Caribbean." Pre-concert activities begin at 1:30 p.m. The concert begins at 2:30 p.m. Free trick-or-treat bags for the first 250 children to attend. Ukelele fun, musical storytime, Disney- themed arts and crafts, string instrument petting zoo, meet the woodwinds family, meet the brass family, drumming circle, photo opps with Disney characters and costume parade.
4-6 p.m. Trick-or-Treat So Others Can Food Drive, Ellis (rescheduled from last weekend)
Volunteers will pick up non-perishable food items at Ellis residents' doors to be donated to the Ellis Food Boxes program.

Monday
3 to 5 p.m. — Trick-or-Treat on the Bricks, downtown Hays
Crafts, games and candy will be offered at the Hays Public Library. Open to children of all ages.
3 to 5 p.m. — Trick-or-Treating at Big Creek Crossing, Hays
Kiddos can enjoy showing off their favorite costumes and get some goodies from our stores.
3-5 p.m. Trick-or-Treat on the Plaza, Northridge Plaza, 2707 Vine, Hays
Walk the Northridge Plaza where our businesses will be handing out candy and playing games. McDonald’s will have Grimace present after school releases to see the kiddos and the Wayne Voss Agency will be grilling and handing out hot dogs. Free and open to the public.
3:30-5 p.m. — Trick-or-Treat Downtown Plainville
4:30 p.m. — Halloween Madness, Trego County Courthouse Square, WaKeeney
5 p.m. — Trick-or-Treat and s'mores with the Victoria Fire Department, Victoria City Park
