TOPEKA - The Hays High softball team is the No. 10 seed and open against Goddard-Eisenhower at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Two Rivers Youth Complex in Wichita.

Bishop Carroll is the two seed and plays Andover in the other first round game. The two winners meet in the regional final around 6 p.m. later the same day.

Hays High lost their final four games of the regular season and takes a 15-11 record into postseason play. They lost 3-2 to Goddard-Eisenhower back on April 13 in Dodge City.
