Ronald Dee Underwood, age 74, passed away at the Mosaic Medical Center in St. Joseph, Mo., on Sunday, March 13, 2022.
He was born January 21, 1948, in Agra, Kansas the son of Harvey and Fern (Cottrill) Underwood.
Ronald was united in marriage to Joyce Dusin on February 16, 1974, in Stuttgart, Kansas. She survives.
Others survivors include his daughter Billie Boykin and husband Rick of Horton, KS; four grandchildren: Ryland, Cameron, Alli, and Bri Boykin; a sister Peggy Gale and husband Loren of Agra, KS; sister-in-law Carolyn Underwood of Bennington; nieces; and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jerry Underwood.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Lee Bennight officiating. The services will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page. Burial will follow in the Agra Cemetery, Agra, KS.
Mr. Underwood will lie in state Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
