Mindy Rehmert, 60, died Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at her home in Dodge City.
She was born March 6, 1962, at Larned, Kansas, the daughter of Robert L. Rehmert and Linda L. (Parrott) Rehmert. She was a lifetime Dodge City resident, a graduate of Dodge High School and received her Associates Degree from Dodge City Community College. At the age of 13, she started working at the Dairy Queen in Dodge City and, in May 2004, began work as a Human Resource Specialist for USD 443 in Dodge City. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her work family.
She was a member of Grace Community Church in Dodge City.
Survivors include: her 2 daughters, Kasey Speer and companion John Pando and Jessi Chapman and husband Greg all of Dodge City; her mother, Linda Rehmert, Eufaula, Oklahoma; her sister, Lora Rehmert, Checotah, Oklahoma; her brother, Steve Rehmert and wife Donna, Eufaula; a sister-in-law, Pam Rehmert, Eufaula; 4 grandchildren, Zoe Zimmerman and companion, Chris Shahidi, Zayden Zimmerman, Kierra Smith and Cain Chapman; 2 great grandchildren, C.J. and Avianna Shahidi; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Rehmert, 2 brothers, Charles L. Rehmert and Darrell Dean Rehmert and a nephew, Tyler Rehmert.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm Monday, April 4, 2022, at Grace Community Church with Pastor Kirk Larson officiating. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.
