EDWARDS COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 6:30a.m. Monday in Edwards County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Toyota Camry driven by Ronald R Crabb, 41, Raton, New Mexico, was eastbound on U.S. 50 five miles east of the U.S. 183 Junction.
The car traveled left of center and struck a westbound 2022 Peterbilt semi driven by Trenton C. Winter, 36, Mount Hope.
Crabb was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to McKillip Funeral Home. Winter was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
