The Hays High Indians wrestling team brought home two more medals from the 5A state tournament in Park City Friday.
Freshman Harley Zimmerman earned a fourth place finish in his first trip to state.
Zimmerman opened the tournament with a 10-8 win over Kyle Adams from Topeak-Seaman.
He then lost by a 22-11 major decision to Hayden Mills over Blue Valley Southwest.
On the back side of the bracket Zimmerman went 1-1, losing in the third place match to Clayton Bowers of Maize 3-2.
At 220 pounds Hays High junior Gavin Meyers entered the tournament 23-0.
He earned a first period fall over Gabe Cornett of KC Turner in the first round.
But lost in the championship semifinals 3-1 in overtime.
Meyers then lost his consolation semifinal match 4-1 to Dylan Ward of Lansing and was forced to injury defeat in the fifth place match.
Meyers finished the year 24-3.
He's a two-time state placer.
