PHILLIPSBURG – The TMP-Marian boys golf team finished in first place at Tuesday’s Phillipsburg Mel Schremmer Invitational at the Phillipsburg Golf Club. The Monarchs shot a 353 and finished 13 shots ahead of second place Phillipsburg. Ellis finished third with a 374.
Ellis’ Austin Carroll won the individual title with a 7-over-par 75. Norton’s Eli Jones finished second with a 76 and TMP-Marian’s Pake Dewey third with a 78. The Monarchs Heuer Brungardt shot an 85 and placed sixth.
