The Kiwanis Club of Hays is pleased to announce it’s Legion of Honor recipients for the 2023-2024 membership year.
This year’s Legion of Honor recipients were joined by fellow members serving 25 years or more at the luncheon. Pictured left to right: Lou Tinkel, 46 years of service, Dennis Zimmerman, 44 years of service, Connie Mermis, 29 years of service, Mary Hammond, 25 years of service, Tisa Mason, 28 years of service, Rex Ball, 25 years of service, and Marion Dreher, longest serving Kiwanis Club of Hays member with 52 years of service.
Legion of Honor is a Kiwanis program that recognizes dedicated service from its members who have given 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, or 65 years of service to the service organization.
These Kiwanis Club of Hays members were recognized at the February 29th membership meeting luncheon. To date, Kiwanis Club of Hays has 18 current members who have achieved this distinguished level of service.
