TOPEKA, Kan. - Several area teams are ranked in the Kansas Volleyball Association Preseason poll released Wednesday.
TMP-Marian, who finished 33-7 last season, is ranked No. 4 in Class 3A. A couple of state qualifiers from 2019 are also ranked. Phillipsburg is fifth and Beloit, who finished state runner-up, is ninth.
Trego is ranked eighth in 2A.
Victoria, who was a state qualifier in Class 1A, is ranked fourth in 1A-Division I. Central Plains, who won the Class 1A state title a year ago, is ranked No. 1 in 1A Division 2. Wheatland-Grinnell is sixth and Logan/Palco 10th.
Current classifications for the rankings are based on enrollments from 2019-20. The rankings will be adjusted when the updated classifications are released at the end of September.
