TREGO COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 4p.m. Thursday in Trego County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Freightliner semi driven by Kevin Paul Beaver, 62, Watkins, Colorado, was eastbound on Interstate just east of 150th Avenue.
The vehicle lost traction and jackknifed into the south ditch. The power unit came to rest on the shoulder partially in the driving lane.
EMS transported Beaver to the Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
