The Hays High girls land six players on the All-Western Athletic Conference team. Senior Caroline Robben and junior Katie Dinkel were named to the first team while senior Aleyia Ruder, juniors Claire Humphrey and Aspen Melvin and freshman Dani Willeford named to the second team.
Dodge City freshman Jasmine Ruiz, who scored 43 goals in 17 games, was named the WAC Player of the Year.
Garden City's Jose Vital was named coach of the Year after guiding the Buffaloes to a share of the WAC title with Hays High.
