THOMAS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Tuesday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Volvo semi driven by Teofilo Ortiz, 60, Arvada, Colorado, was westbound on Interstate 70 nine miles west of Colby.
The vehicle traveled off the roadway to the right and returned to roadway. The driver overcorrected and the semi overturned onto its passenger side.
EMS transported Ortiz to Citizens Medical Center. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
